It seems that this has been a long time coming for CJ Mahaney and the Board of Sovereign Grace Ministries.  The Washington Post is reporting that three different victims are suing SGM for their mishandling and concealment of sex abuse that occurred within their churches.  Over a half-dozen defendants are named in the case, but neither SGM nor any of the defendants made any comment when contacted concerning the case being brought against them.

While this is not the first time sex abuse cases have been brought to light concerning SGM , it is the first time that a lawsuit has been filed against SGM  for failing to report the crimes.

Excellent news! I really hope that the many, many others who were damaged by the cult of SGM by their cover-ups of sex crimes against children join the suit! But don’t worry about CJ, he’ll find a sucker someone to bankroll his lifestyle – all the ego-maniac douche bag fallen “church leaders” do sooner or later……..

I hope other victims feel the courage and support to speak out as well. I’m afraid you are probably right, that CJ will always find someone to “snake charm”…

Good! It’s time for some accountability.

I agree 100%…for decades they have avoided accountability for their authoritarian actions and draconian parenting teachings. This time had to come, in my opinion.
